Here's the long version...

I started teaching Human Design in 2020, and in all honesty, quite reluctantly.

I took a deep interest in the system after learning about my 5/2 profile. When I say it completely shifted my perspective the moment I heard the term "double projection field," I mean for real for real. A lifetime of shame instantly transformed into empowerment. It reconciled endless experiences of being seen as the hero, villain, and victim, of falling from pedestals I never wanted to be on, and all the ways I failed at cleaning up other people's lives for them.

Before that moment, I was a professional at gaslighting myself into believing that I really was the problem. I'd taken on blame, shame, and responsibility for things that never had a thing to do with me. And I carried a deeply held belief that I needed to do whatever it took to live up to other people's (projected) expectations.

So, my study truly began for myself. Little did I know that I have a knack for it and that, soon enough, people would start demanding they give me money to tell them about their chart.

Whether it's:

• line 2 in my profile,
• being a master energy healer and coach in multiple modalities
• my decades of study in:
  • the mystical Qabalah
  • astrology
  • eastern philosophy (including the chakra system)
  • high magick
  • spiritual alchemy
  • planetary magick
  • sacred geometry
  • the tarot (Thoth, tyvm)

Or, if it's just sheer Grace combined with my tenacious devotion to my values of self-trust, sovereignty, and wholeness. Who even knows.

Whatever it is, y'all love it.

After decades of believing that it was my job to sit in the corner and be quiet, I feel deeply recognized each time someone tells me to "say more." Or that they love drinking from the firehouse of my outer authority. Or that they never tire of reading my insights, stories, and often out-of-the-box perspectives.

For the first few years teaching Human Design, the Human Design Map & Portal was the only way to pay me. Eventually, I added a tip jar to my emails. And still, people asked for even more ways they could support me in writing more and more about Human Design. There are other requests, too, and I might talk more about those at a later time.

For now, though, when it comes to easier ways to just generally support my work, I've tried a few different things. All of which have gone down in flames. Mostly due to tech hurdles and limitations that took me away from the main thing -- the writing.

Recently though, someone recommended Substack. And, since it is made for writers, I knew I'd found a place that would work for me - and hopefully - you. With substack, I don't have to worry about character limits, disappearing content, or the whims of algorithms or app developers.

I can just focus on writing and connecting with the people who recognize and appreciate the value of my insight.

So, if you are one of the people who want to support me in writing endlessly about Human Design (and all that comes with it!), I'd be honored for you to join me on substack. There are three options:

Option 1: Free

I will occasionally be posting content similar to what I post on my blog, instagram, and in this email list. As well as links to content I’ve published elsewhere. I'm also playing around with other ideas since it is SO focused on writing but I'm not really making any promises with that. The promises come with option 2 and 3.

Option 2: Paid Monthly Subscription (currently $5.55 per month)

• Comments and Q + A on free substack posts - Commenting on my substack posts will only be turned on for paid subscribers. As a paid subscriber, you can share your insights and ask general questions on every post I make there.

• Beta Reading with Exclusive Q + A - My list of writing projects is LONG. And I want your help in making them even better. Beta drafts are the “final before the final” draft of any given piece of content and that I am soliciting feedback on. You asking questions on the beta read posts will help me create the best content I can for you; I will answer your questions in the comments and, in some cases, use your query to guide my final version.

• Exclusive content in the form of random riffs on concepts, ideas, and inspiration that I’ve been sitting with. One of my gifts is sitting with energy (aka contemplation). And by sitting, I don’t mean meditating. I mean dropping it into the realm of my consciousness and then letting it just be there as I live my regular life.

  Eventually, insight “pops out” and i’ll share it. I attribute this to my 57-20. Whatever it is, though, these insights are often great conversation starters, and oddly enough, can be even more illuminating that more formal content.

• Behind the Scenes - I have been asked repeatedly for a behind the scenes look at how I run my business. I will need to play around with ways of making that possible on substack but do think this is something I can share in one way or another. Once I get the kinks worked out, I'll share what running a successful (to me) business looks like as well.

• Polls for helping me shape the direction of future content. As I mentioned before, the list of things I want to write about is seven million miles long. I will occasionally publish polls to get a better understanding what of you’d like to see first.

• Ask Me Anything - In addition to the beta drafts, random riffs, and polls, I will also be occasionally publishing Ask Me Anything posts. These are for you to…ask me anything…that falls outside of whatever is already on the substack feed.

• Access to the archives of the paid substack. I am just getting started so there are only a couple of paid post at the time of this email. But, a long list of posts is in the works.

• Anything else I am inspired to share. Who knows where this could go! :D
