In Human Design, the will center, sometimes called the heart center or the ego center, is the center where we derive our sense of self worth. It empowers us to be adept in the material world and create an awareness of the cash money value that we have to offer others.

And what a fascinating paradox that is: self worth and the value one gives to the world.

Two totally different things. And yet, so intimately tied together.

And here is where it gets really interesting…

Only about 37% of the population have a defined will center. Which means that 63% of the world is likely to struggle with the dance between self worth and giving value to others.

So, if you've been under the impression that your "self worth issues" are unique, stop wondering. It isn't just you. Its most of the world.

This is one of the many reasons why I adore Human Design and the alchemical journey we take in the Human Design Map portal. With your chart, you're handed a map that guides you straight to your “issues” with self worth and even gives you clues about the value others receive from you.

By looking at your design from an objective, empowered stance, it becomes obvious where you're caught in stories of unworthiness rather than embracing the value others naturally receive from you. And here's the straight truth about that:

Worthiness is not a “real” thing. It is a construct of toxic religion and patriarchy and is a savvy method of control.

When you are busy chasing worthiness, you will have no energy left to express your fullest potential. You won’t be able to use your will wisely.

In other words, the only reason “worthiness” feels like such a problem is that you’ve been conditioned to believe that your authentic self is too much or not enough. You’ve been taught to sacrifice yourself and have been painted the illusion that others' pleasure is in your hands.

And, like I said, that is some toxic and patriarchal religious bullshit.

You don’t actually need to “become” worthy. Or “deserve” what you most want in life. Or be, do, have more.

Because that is synonymous with chasing your tail. Is it not?

“Becoming wise” in the will center isn’t about running faster on the hamster wheel.

It is a matter of using your Human Design as a map for alchemizing your stories of too much, not enough, worthless, or undeserving into unshakeable self worth. It is about no longer letting the validation of the outer world provide evidence of your gifts. It is about not needing outer evidence at all. Instead, it is about knowing your gifts, inside and out, rececicng them first, and then sharing them with the people who gobble up your authenticity like candy. .

No more chasing.

And in that wise and powerful stance, the value others receive from you becomes drippingly obvious. It will no longer be an option to jump through hoops or desperately beg others to “see your worth.”

It will simply be a matter of embodied knowing. Of making the contribution that only you can make by being authentic. Of being true to your north star.

The “real” journey of the undefined will isn’t in trying harder to “be worthy.” It is in reclaiming your capacity to know and express your authentic (metaphorical or literal) voice – even when it makes the powers that be quake in their boots.

Unshakeable SELF worth.

And that is the journey we are taking here.

Your Human Design is the map.
